      Parliament of the World's Religions: An Overview

      The Greater Anderson Interfaith Network (GAIN), as part of its Finding Common Ground series, will offer in conjunction with the Anderson County Library, a colorful overview of the history, evolution, and contributions of the World Parliament of Religions on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2:30, in the Anderson County Main Library. Author JoAnn Borovicka will describe her first hand experiences as a presenter at the 2018 World Parliament in Toronto, Canada. Other area participants will also be available to share and answer questions.

      GAIN seeks to explore the many commonalities of the world's major religions with the aim of building bridges of understanding and cooperation between all faith communities within the Anderson area. Programs are free to the public.
